The Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC) partners with hospital staff and leadership to ensure that care is respectful, responsive, and inclusive of patient and family needs. As a PFAC member, you’ll collaborate on policies, programs, and quality initiatives that impact the patient experience. We meet on a quarterly basis to review projects, policies, and pressing issues for our patients and their families.
What will you do as a PFAC member?
As a member of the Patient & Family Advisory Committee, you’ll play a meaningful role in shaping the care experience at NARMC. Committee members contribute in several important ways, including:
- Advocating for patients and families by sharing real-life experiences and offering insights to help improve care and communication.
- Collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to support initiatives that enhance patient-centered care.
- Providing feedback on hospital projects and facility updates, including renovations and remodels, to ensure decisions reflect the needs of those we serve.
