The skin is the largest organ in the human body, and we must take special care of it. We treat wounds associated with inadequate circulation, poorly functioning veins, and immobility, as well as non-healing wounds. In addition to providing advanced wound dressings, we also utilize hyperbaric oxygen therapy as part of our wound care approach.

Our experienced team of wound care specialists is committed to providing you with the highest standard of care, using the latest techniques and technology. From minor wounds to chronic, complex conditions, we are equipped to handle it all. We also provide education and support to help you manage your wound at home and prevent future complications.

If you or a loved one is dealing with a wound, don't hesitate to contact us and schedule an appointment. We are here to help you get back to your daily life as soon as possible.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a treatment for many illnesses and medical conditions, including chronic wounds, pressure ulcers, and other types of wounds that do not respond to conservative therapy. The hyperbaric chamber delivers 100% oxygen to patients in an environment of increased atmospheric pressure. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy works throughout the body as elevated levels of oxygen enter the blood and tissues to increase healing.

The Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center is staffed by specially trained doctors, physician assistants, nurses, and technicians. Our team coordinates with referring healthcare providers to create a plan of care to achieve the best possible outcomes for hyperbaric oxygen therapy patients. Wound Care and Hyperbaric services are located in the Therapy Services Department in the hospital. For more information, call (870) 414-5065.
