At North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, we offer a wide array of treatments and infusions in our Ambulatory Treatment Room (ATR). ATR is an alternative site for taking care of patients outside of the physician's office or hospital, where patients can come receive preferred treatment while being monitored by our nursing staff. We pride ourselves on our commitment to providing high-quality treatment and infusion services to our patients and strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that puts our patients at ease.
Infusions
Our team provides a variety of infusion services to patients who are battling rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, multiple sclerosis, and iron deficiency. We also offer a range of specialized injections for the treatment of anemia, iron deficiency, osteoporosis, animal bites, decreased immune system, and more. Additionally, our team provides a litany of daily antibiotics for patients in need.
Transfusions
We offer blood transfusions to treat anemic patients with chronic or acute blood loss and platelet transfusions for patients who are deficient in clotting factors and have a high risk of bleeding. Both of these are used quite frequently in our patients who are receiving chemotherapy or immunotherapy.
IV Push Meds
IV push meds can be used for patients who are battling congestive heart failure, multiple sclerosis, infections, or allergic skin reactions. Adrenal fatigue testing can be performed with our cortisol stimulation testing.
Outpatient Procedures
Available outpatient procedures can include anything the doctor would like performed, from bladder scans and instilling medications into the bladder to placing a PICC line for a long course of antibiotics to IV placement for a procedure, with follow up care of the lines placed.
