The team at the Family Medicine Group recently added a food pantry box outside of their clinic. Inspired by an article he read about blessing boxes in Little Rock, Dr. Ron Reese thought installing a box at his location would be a good way to give back to the local community. The freestanding pantry box will be stocked with non-perishable items by the Family Medicine Group team and other offices in the Harrison Medical Park plaza. Dr. Reese contacted the NARMC Construction team to build the custom-designed box, which was painted blue and white.
“I know there are a couple of these boxes around Harrison now, and I’m proud to add ours at the Family Medicine Group to the list,” said Dr. Reese. “It is a great way to support those in our community who need a little help.”
The box is located in front of the clinic at 715 W. Sherman, Suite J. Those who can are invited to donate non-perishable foods and toiletry items to the pantry box, and those who need it are welcome to help themselves to the blessings inside.
