FOOD & NUTRITION

We optimize health through food and nutrition. Many of us have been told “you are what you eat” and the NARMC nutrition and dietetic services helps patients understand the impact nutrition has on overall health. Our registered dietitians are part of a multi-disciplinary health care team and are responsible for working alongside other team members to optimize health through changes in an individual’s nutrition plan.

Medical nutrition therapy (MNT) is a therapy and counseling service provided by a registered dietitian for the purpose of disease management through behavioral and lifestyle changes to impact long-term eating habits and health. MNT education is available for disease prevention and management of chronic conditions. Discuss MNT with your doctor for a referral to our dedicated nutritional team.
