BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Every year, millions of Americans experience problems that may disrupt their sense of well-being.  They may find themselves feeling sad, worried, or confused.  Left untreated, these problems can interfere with work and leisure activities, ultimately leading to serious medical problems.

Common conditions affecting the brain, and therefore the body, include:

  • Alzheimer's and other dementias

  • Depression

  • Anxiety disorder

  • Bipolar disorder

  • Schizophrenia

Our Center for Memory, Mood and Thought provides comprehensive, compassionate care, beginning with assessment and management of the conditions affecting the brain and body. A specialized team of physicians, nurses, therapists, and care providers work with each individual to define the problem, advise treatment options, develop short-term and long-term goals to help regain abilities lost and develop strategies to prevent future crisis.
