Dr. John Leslie to Leave NARMC

May 30, 2018

HARRISON, Arkansas, May 30, 2018- Dr. John Leslie announced today he will be leaving North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC). Dr. Leslie currently practices family medicine at the Family Medicine Clinic in Harrison, in addition to his duties as the hospital’s Chief Medical Officer.

“Although we respect and understand Dr. Leslie’s decision, we are disappointed to lose a talented physician. He was one of the first providers to join NARMC in 2012, and he made significant contributions to our effort to provide quality care to our community, including our Population Health program. We know he will be successful in the future as he continues to use his talents to care for patients,” said Vince Leist, CEO and President.

“The decision to leave Harrison was made by my wife and I based on what was best for our family. NARMC is critical to the continued growth and prosperity of the area, and I hope the citizens will rally behind the hospital, administration and staff in support of their efforts. I continue to believe the physicians brought to the community by the hospital are essential to the long-range growth of the community,” Dr. Leslie said.

Dr. Leslie, who will be moving from the Harrison area, plans to remain at NARMC and the Family Medicine Clinic until mid-July in order to transition patients to other physicians. Family Medicine Clinic patients can call 870-365-0850 to schedule an appointment with another Family Medicine Clinic provider. If patients prefer to change clinics, their confidential medical records may be obtained through the NARMC medical records department. The department can be reached by calling 870-414-4063, by mail at 620 North Main, Harrison, AR, or visiting the second floor office in person at the hospital.
