The NARMC team celebrated Tom Cassilly, RN Circulator, Surgical Services, during his retirement reception on Wednesday, May 29. Tom has been with NARMC for 17 years. According to the CDC, from January 1 to May 3, 2019, 764 individual cases of measles have been confirmed in 23 states. This is an increase of 60 cases from the previous week. This is the greatest number of cases reported in the U.S. since 1994 and since measles was declared eliminated in 2000. To celebrate National Hospital Week, NARMC hosted a Baby Photo contest. Throughout the week, a poster board with baby photos was displayed in the cafeteria. Team members filled out ballots and whoever got the most names correct won a prize. Our winner is Mandy Rose in the Business Office! Congratulations, Mandy! The NARMC team enjoyed seeing their coworkers as children!
