Simons Promoted to Surgery Director


HARRISON, Arkansas, July 21, 2020- North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is proud to announce that Kreg Simons, RN, has been promoted to Director of Surgical Services. In his new role, he will be leading the entire surgical department.

Kreg graduated from the Burge School of Nursing in Springfield, MO. He spent 22 years caring for patients at Cox Medical Center in Springfield. His experience includes Emergency medicine, peripherally inserted central catheter (P.I.C.C.) placement and home health. Kreg joined the NARMC team in 2012 as the nurse supervisor of Pre-Op, PACU, ATR and GI Lab.

“Kreg is a dedicated and innovative nurse leader. He has a desire to implement and grow programs and services, and his focus on operational efficiency, quality and patient safety will be a tremendous asset moving forward. We are very excited to welcome Kreg to our team, “says Donna Boehm, Director of Nursing.

“I am so proud to be a part of this surgery team,” Kreg said. “We have a very close team that prides itself on providing the highest quality of care. I am honored to be given the opportunity to lead this team.”
