NARMC RNs Recognized for Excellent Stroke Care

NARMC is a proud participant in UAMS’s stroke program, formally known as AR SAVES (Stroke Assistance through Virtual Emergency Support). This program connects rural hospitals with live, telemedicine-based neurology consultations. Patients in emergency rooms across the state are connected to specialists who are able to diagnose strokes immediately and recommend treatment. Currently the program partners with more than 54 sites across the state.

Recently three NARMC emergency department nurses were recognized for excellent stroke care.

Makaya Baker, RN:

Sady Campbell, RN:

Shelton Rose, RN:

Each nurse completed their annual stroke training and their practice mocks for the year plus provided rapid, quality patient care in stroke cases.

Congratulations to each of these nurses for their dedication to providing quality care to our community.
