North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is made up of more than 800 team members who have dedicated their lives to serving this community. Every team member, regardless of the role they play is a critical part of providing the best in care, close to home. We take every opportunity to recognize our team members for their vital role. During National Hospital and Nurse Week, May 10-16, we will be celebrating our team members through a number of planned activities.
National Hospital and Nurse Week will look a little different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although, while maintaining appropriate safety measures to protect our staff we will still show our appreciation. Several local businesses have donated meals, cakes, ice cream, pizzas and more through the North Arkansas Medical Foundation to honor the NARMC team. The North Arkansas Medical Foundation will be honoring these businesses on their Facebook page during Hospital Week.
“We are so incredibly proud of our team and how hard they work to care for our community,” NARMC President and CEO Vincent Leist said. “We are grateful to our community businesses for helping us celebrate our team in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Local government officials have also shown their support for the NARMC team. Boone County Judge Robert Hathaway and Harrison Mayor Jerry Jackson have proclaimed May 10-16, 2020 Hospital Week within the county and the city. We appreciate our local government’s support of our team.
NARMC team members are committed to providing the best in care, close to home.
