North Arkansas Medical Foundation Gala Postponed

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is following the progression of COVID-19, also known as the Coronavirus, in the country and around the state. NARMC is taking appropriate steps to protect our community from the spread of viral illnesses as six presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Arkansas earlier this week. Out of an abundance of caution and concern for those planning to attend the North Arkansas Medical Foundation’s Boots and Bling gala this weekend, the event has been postponed indefinitely.

“We take the health and safety of our supporters very seriously and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” Foundation Chairman Joe Paul James said. “We feel this is a necessary step to protect our community.”

Our goal at NARMC is to provide the best care possible while keeping our patients and staff healthy and safe. We will continue to monitor the spread of viral illnesses including the flu and COVID-19 in the state of Arkansas and our community.
