RN Recognized for Outstanding Stroke Care

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is home to highly skilled team members that have committed their lives to serving others.

NARMC has partnered with UAMS and AR SAVES to ensure that patients that come to the ER suffering from a stroke receive the best care possible.

In December 2019, Sady Campbell, RN, had the fastest door to TPA time in the state of Arkansas through AR Saves at 31 minutes. This means that within 31 minutes of arriving at NARMC of stroke symptoms being recognized, the patient received the clot-busting medication, TPA. The goal is less than 60 minutes across the state and our goal at NARMC is 45 minutes. Sady also held the fastest door to TPA time for NARMC in 2019. The entire Emergency Department and other NARMC teams helped make this possible. As a team, we help patients in needs so that they will have the most positive outcome possible.

Sady completed all of her annual online education and all of her mock drills on time for 2019. On all AR Saves consults, we have time target goals for Door to MD, Door to CT, Door to calling AR Saves, Door to Neurologist and Door to TPA. Sady achieved each time target in every one of her seven total AR Saves consults for 2019.

Congratulations, Sady! Thank you for providing outstanding quality care to those in need!
