Since the beginning of May, the NARMC GI Lab team has recycled more than 40 pounds of plastic.
When OR Tech Kristi Turner noticed all of the plastics that the team was using in the GI Lab, she decided to do something. She began to recycle the sterile water bottles, drinking water bottles and plastic packaging each day. Once the recycling bin is full, she takes it to the loading dock by the cafeteria.
Kristi is passionate about protecting the environment and is proud to share this with the rest of the team.
