NARMC Staff Presents at National Conference

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center was honored to be selected as a poster presenter for the 2019 Nurse Quality and Innovation Conference held in Orlando, Florida recently. This is the annual conference for the American Nurses Association, supported by American Nurses Credentialing Center. The conference was held April 23-26 with more than 2,100 nurses in attendance.

The NARMC clinical care teams collaborated to optimize patient care through the medication reconciliation process. The work on this project was recognized by the ANA. Through an application process, the NARMC team was selected to present their work at the annual conference. The poster titled “Medication Reconciliation in the ER: Improving Safety and Quality” was presented by Sammie Cribbs, NARMC’s CNO/COO.

“Our clinical care teams have done a tremendous amount of work to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care possible,” Sammie said. “It is an honor to be allowed to share their incredible work with nurses across the nation.”
