NARMC Announces New Director of Clinic Operations

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is proud to announce Sheila Huskey recently joined the team as Executive Director of Clinic Operations.

Huskey brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role at NARMC. She previously served as the Integrated Medicine Service Line Practice Manager and Director of Medicine Specialties at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. In that position, Huskey oversaw more than 30 team members to ensure clinical excellence and exceptional care for patients, staff and providers. Huskey earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, as well as an executive master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.

“Sheila is an asset to the NARMC team,” said Sammie Cribbs, chief operating officer and chief nursing officer. “We are thrilled to have her leading our clinic operations, and I am confident that her experience will help us drive enhancements in patient care and efficiency throughout our clinic network.”

As director of the Clinic Operations, Huskey will oversee NARMC’s 11 clinics, including general practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, rural health and Mediquick. She plans to streamline clinic operations so that patients receive consistent and high-quality care at every NARMC clinic they visit. During the 2018 fiscal year, NARMC clinics logged more than 117,780 clinic visits.

“I’m excited to take on this role,” said Huskey. “NARMC has a great network of clinics and providers for the community. Working with these teams, I know we can make continued improvements that will drive patient satisfaction and care.”
