Auxiliary Thrift Store Celebrates Renovation

The NARMC Auxiliary Thrift Store recently received a face lift and remodel.

On January 23, we hosted a ribbon cutting and open house event for the entire community.

Here is a look at the store before:

After:

What changed?

  • 164 gallons of paint

  • 1,766.25 man hours

  • 10 wall removed

  • 2,000 feet of ceiling tile installed

  • 6,000 square feet of flooring replaced.

Everything was remodeled all while the thrift store stayed open the entire time! The NARMC Auxiliary volunteers and thrift store staff made this possible. Each year, Auxiliary volunteers donate approximately 6,000 hours to the thrift store.

If you have not had a chance to stop by the thrift store, please stop by anytime to see the newly remodeled store.

All proceeds benefit the NARMC Auxiliary, which donates to NARMC. The Auxiliary has bought equipment and resources needed by NARMC. The Auxiliary also gives scholarships to students pursuing a degree in the healthcare field every year.
