The first floor nursing staff recently added a new animal to their Fall Tree to mark 60 days without a fall. The Fall Tree was implemented as a creative way to decrease patient falls. A leaf is added to the tree each day that there are no falls in the unit. An animal is added after 30 consecutive days of no falls. Great job to first floor team for improving patient safety!
