Three Team Members Complete Nurse Residency Program


Three nurses recently completed NARMC’s Nurse Residency program. Since the program began in 2012, 90 nurses have completed the program. The program provides nurses continued education and development of clinical nursing skills and a strong foundation in NARMC policies and procedures. The program is two- years-long, including eight weeks of classroom and laboratory instruction. During the rest of the residency, nurses are mentored by nursing managers. Recent graduates include Dustin Elledge, RN; Tiffany Stewart, LPN; and Hannah Wilburn, BSN, RN.

Elledge completed his nursing education at North Arkansas College in 2016. He began working for NARMC in the Emergency Department May of 2016. He plans to continue his education in the future.

Stewart completed her nursing education at North Arkansas College in 2016. She began working for NARMC in the Behavioral Health Unit in August of 2016. She plans to continue her education to obtain her Registered Nurse degree.

Wilburn completed her nursing education at North Arkansas College in 2016, followed by her Bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Arkansas in 2017. She began in the Emergency Department as a Student Nurse Tech in July of 2015. She recently began working towards her Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University.
