Get the Facts: Birth Certificates

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) often receives inquiries regarding birth certificates. Common reasons for reaching out to NARMC include losing the certificate or needing to make changes. Birth Certificates are not printed at NARMC, but the Medical Records department can point you in the right direction.

Our Medical Records department submits the birth information to the Arkansas Department of Health--Vital Records, who prints the certificates.

If someone needs another copy of a birth certificate, they can either order the Birth Certificate from Vital Records or obtain a copy from Boone County Health. The fee at Boone County Health is the same as Vital Records.

An application to request a certificate from Vital Records can be received by calling NARMC Medical Records at 870-414-4138.
