This week, NARMC honors Medical Laboratory Professionals Week (MLPW).
MLPW originated in 1975 and provides the profession with a unique opportunity to increase public understanding of and appreciation for clinical laboratory personnel.
MLPW takes place in the last full week of April each year.
NARMC is home to a dedicated and knowledgeable laboratory team. There are 32 staff members in NARMC’s lab, which recently completed a CAP inspection and was CAP accredited. To celebrate MLPW, the team was surprised with cookies in the shape of blood cells.
