Volunteers from hospitals across the state of Arkansas gathered on Tuesday for the Northwest District meeting of the Arkansas Volunteer Auxiliary. The NARMC Auxiliary had the privilege of hosting the meeting in Harrison. A total of 96 volunteers were present.
During the meeting, the attendees voted on new Auxiliary district officers including Mary Pledger, District Treasurer and Carol Evans, District Chair. Both are NARMC Auxiliary volunteers and will take their respected offices in October.
The meeting was followed by lunch and entertainment by the Harrison High School Chamber choir.
The district meeting rotates between eight hospitals in the district and is hosted in Harrison every four years.
