The Proud Faces of NARMC Campaign features hospital team members

More than 850 team members focus on providing quality, safe care at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) every day. Those team members are the backbone of the healthcare system. Because of the wide variety of career options, NARMC can be described as a city within a city. Plumbers, electricians, construction workers, food service technicians, accountants, therapists, nurses and physicians all play a role in NARMC’s day-to-day activities. Every team member is crucial to NARMC’s mission from those that make sure laundry is clean to those who cook meals and the clinical staff who help keep our community healthy.

The NARMC Proud campaign launched about six months ago to give team members a platform to tell their stories. The NARMC Strategic Communication and Marketing team initiated the campaign in early fall and worked with individual staff members from various departments to take photos and capture quotes. The concept is built on team members being proud of the work they do at the hospital for the community. The campaign can be seen throughout the hallways of NARMC on posters, as well as on NARMC’s Facebook page and website. It includes newspaper ads, billboards, banners and more.

The campaign reminds the community and those within the medical system that NARMC is much more than just a building; it is a team of people dedicated to quality care and community. Every team member has a story and reason to be NARMC Proud. More than 90 staff members have participated in the campaign so far.

For some, the teamwork and comradery make NARMC a special place to work. For others, it is all about their patients and the relationships they form with them. Some team members serve behind the scenes and find joy in knowing they are able to make a difference in patients’ lives.

“It makes you feel good knowing you are helping other people. I love being a part of a team that serves others,” Dean Harper, Nutrition Assistant, said. Dean was featured in the very first phase of the NARMC Proud campaign.

Pharmacist, Brandy Hubbard’s photo can be found among others on the second floor of NARMC. “The health and well-being of our community is just as important as the individualized care we provide to our patients on a daily basis. I am proud to be a part of a team that is truly making a difference,” Hubbard said.

Typically when you walk into a hospital, you are either sick or visiting someone who is sick. The addition of the NARMC Proud campaign has brought color and life to the walls of NARMC. The campaign will continue to feature team members and why they are proud to be a part of the NARMC team.

NARMC is an innovative, non-profit healthcare system consisting of a central hospital in Harrison, Arkansas, and 18 clinics serving the rural communities of North Arkansas. As one of the Top 100 Rural Hospitals in the nation according to the Rural Health Policy Institute, NARMC has earned numerous 5-Star ratings from Healthgrades and consistently ranks high in patient satisfaction in Press Ganey ratings. A two-time recipient of the Arkansas Governor’s Quality Achievement Award, NARMC is committed to providing the best in care, close to home.
