Several North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) team members were invited to speak to students about their fields of expertise.
HHS Alumni, Dr. Brent Rosson, took a trip back in time to visit his alma mater and speak to students interested in a career in healthcare.
“It was fun to go back to my alma mater and talk with students since I can remember the importance of learning about different career fields at their age,” Dr. Rosson said.
Dr. Rosson focused on the importance of planning ahead, working hard and staying dedicated to their goal.
Lacy Huff, RN, and Jeremy Johnson, another HHS Alum, represented NARMC’s Surgery Department. They spoke to students about surgery and what it takes to become a Surg Tech. Delbert McCutchen, RN, spoke to students about a career in nursing.
NARMC is a rural community hospital and enjoys being a part of events such as HHS’s Career Day.
