NARMC Welcomes First Baby of 2018

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is proud to announce that the first baby born in 2018 was born at 8:23 a.m. on January 2. Diego Rincon is the son of Irma Rincon of Berryville, Arkansas.

He weighed seven pounds and eight ounces and was 19.5 inches long. The family received a gift basket from NARMC, which included diapers, wipes, booties and much more.

NARMC saw 734 births during its 2017 fiscal year and was recently designated a Baby-Friendly birth facility from Baby-Friendly USA making it one of three hospitals in the state of Arkansas with the designation. NARMC is also a Silver Safe Sleep Leader certified facility and has been recognized by the March of Dimes for reducing elective inductions before 39 weeks. The NARMC family is looking forward to welcoming more family members in 2018.
