NARMC receives 4-star rating from CMS

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center received a 4-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in the agency’s recent update of the Overall Hospital Star Rating.

“We are glad to receive this 4-star rating from CMS,” says Sammie Cribbs, vice president of Clinical Services. “This rating joins our other honors as further proof of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center’s commitment to quality care of our patients.”

CMS’s Hospital Compare tool reports information on quality measures for over 4,000 hospitals nationwide, including Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Centers and military hospitals. The website provides information for patients and caregivers on how well hospitals deliver care and encourages hospitals to improve the quality of care they provide. Users can compare performance across many common conditions. Star ratings are based on 57 quality measures across areas of performance such as safety and effectiveness of care, patient experience and readmission.
