Healing Power of Art winners announced


North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) announced the winners of the first Healing Power of Art competition today.

Artist selected for this year’s display are:

Elli Martin, Woodland Heights Elementary

Alivia Haas, Woodland Heights Elementary

Ruby Kate Chitsey, Forest Heights Elementary

Layni Raines, Harrison Middle School

Rylee Fast, Harrison High School

Coley Turner, Alpena High School

Shelby Smith, Harrison High School

A reception for category winners, their families and teachers will be held during the NARMC Spotlight event scheduled for January 16 in the first floor lobby of NARMC. Places and awards will be announced during the Spotlight. The themed art focusing on compassion and hope, will be framed and on display during the event and then moved to a location near the newly renovated café for all to enjoy.

Submitted art that was not selected to be on display may be picked up on December 8 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the NARMC Strategic Communication and Marketing Department located on the fourth floor of NARMC.
