HHS Students visit Claude Parrish Cancer Center

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and students with GobTV at Harrison High School wanted to learn more about early detection and prevention.

A group of students was assigned the task of interviewing, recording and editing a video featuring NARMC's own staff.

Shannon Hilliard, Chief Radiation Therapist, showed the students around the center and answered questions regarding cancer prevention and the treatment process. Dr. Olson, Oncologist, also spoke to the students about the types of breast cancer that are treated at the Claude Parrish Cancer Center.

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center is proud to be a part of a community that encourages students to be informed about their health and willing to educate others.
