Protect Your Eyes during the Great Eclipse of 2017

Today is the day for the Great American Eclipse!

Here in our community, we should see about 92% of the sun blocked by the moon between 1:10 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) wants to remind you that sunglasses and cell phone cameras will not protect your eyes from the UV light. If you do not wear proper protection, you will damage your eyes. Make sure if you plan on looking at the eclipse that you have certified eclipse glasses like the ones pictured here!

Be safe and enjoy the eclipse!
