NARMC Welcomes Harrison Native as New Physician


North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is proud to welcome Dr. Ross Halsted to our team of physicians. Dr. Halsted most recently practiced family medicine in Mountain Home, Arkansas, and comes to NARMC with more than seven years of healthcare experience.

Dr. Halsted obtained his doctorate of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He completed a family medicine residency at CoxHealth in Springfield, Missouri. He then went on to practice family medicine in Mountain Home. Recently, Dr. Halsted was appointed to serve a two-year term on the Arkansas Academy of Family Physicians Board of Directors.

As a Harrison native, Dr. Halsted is looking forward to bringing his experience and expertise back to his hometown.

“I will be officially starting with NARMC in August and offering medical care for all ages, including obstetrical care and nursery care. My wife and I are blessed to be coming home to raise our family, and we look forward to being a part of this wonderful community,” Dr. Halsted said.

Dr. Halsted will be joining the OB/Women’s Services team at Family Medicine Clinic alongside Dr. Adam McCall and Dr. Micah Wiegel.
