When heading outside this summer, be sure to keep these tips in mind in order to protect your skin:
1. Limit your time in the sun. Vitamin D can be great for you- in moderation!
2. Avoid direct sun exposure from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. During these times, the sun can be very harsh.
3. Wear protective clothing and a hat when in the sun.
4. Apply sunscreen frequently.
5. Check skin regularly for changes and notify a physician if any are found.
