Water Safety

August 1, 2017

In Northern Arkansas, summertime means time outside particularly near a body of water. Whether you are visiting a pool, river, creek or lake, you need to keep safety in mind.

It is important to be alert and aware of your surroundings.

Here are a few simple water safety tips compiled by NARMC Providers:

1. Start swimming lessons for children at an early age.

2. Always wear a life jacket around water or on boats.

3. Closely supervise children when around bodies of water.

4. Learn CPR.

We hope you have a safe summer!
