Our highly trained and experienced therapists have a team approach and offer a wide range of rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and pelvic health therapy. Physical Therapy

Our physical therapy program is designed to help patients restore mobility, improve strength, and alleviate pain. Our licensed physical therapists utilize the latest techniques and equipment to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal functional outcomes. Services include:

We are now offering physical therapy at an additional clinic: the NARMC Physicians Clinic of Berryville. This clinic is open two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am-5pm, and is led by Chris Quattlebaum, DPT, a highly skilled provider with certifications in dry needling, HVLA, and other manual therapies to promote recovery.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy at NARMC focuses on helping patients regain independence in their daily activities. Our occupational therapists work with individuals of all ages to develop skills necessary for everyday living and working. Services include:

Speech Therapy

We have a highly experienced and skilled Speech Language Pathology team specializing in adult conditions such as stroke rehab, traumatic brain injury, feeding/swallowing difficulties, voice and language abnormalities, and more. Our SLP features a customized treatment program for each patient and uses specific skills and techniques to promote full recovery and quality of life. Services include:

  • Speech and language therapy
  • Voice therapy
  • Swallowing therapy (dysphagia)
  • Cognitive-communication therapy
  • Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
  • Barium Swallow Studies

Pediatric Therapy

NARMC offers specialized therapy services for children to support their growth and development. We have therapists that specialize in treatment of a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to developmental disabilities, autism, feeding/swallowing difficulties, articulation disorders, genetic disorders, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, sports injuries, torticollis, and more. Services include:

Massage Therapy

Our massage therapy services are designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and alleviate muscle tension. Our certified massage therapists provide a range of techniques tailored to meet individual needs and preferences. Services include:

  • Swedish massage
  • Deep tissue massage
  • Sports massage
  • Prenatal massage
  • Trigger point therapy
  • Assisted Stretching

Pelvic Health Physical Therapy

Pelvic floor physical therapy focuses on the lower back and pelvis as a whole. Pelvic floor physical therapy can help with the following diagnoses:

  • Incontinence, urinary incontinence and frequency, stool incontinence and frequency
  • Abdominal pain
  • Pain with intercourse (Dyspareunia)
  • Pain associated with pregnancy and postpartum (vaginal or C-section deliveries)
  • Pelvic pain and more

We also offer a Labor Ready Class at 34 weeks pre-partum to prepare new mothers for the labor and delivery process. This includes education on labor and birthing positions, how to prevent peroneal tearing, and how to reduce the risk of episiotomies.

Post-Operative Therapies

In our physical and occupational therapy departments, we offer specialized services following all major and minor surgeries including, but not limited to total knee replacements, total hip replacements, total and/or reverse total shoulder replacements, rotator cuff repairs, ACL repair, carpal tunnel recovery, post op hand surgery, etc. Physical and/or occupational therapy following surgery can help:

  • Minimize scar tissue

  • Regain range of motion

  • Maximize return to full function and sport
