Vince Leist

President and CEO

Mr. Leist was named President and CEO of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in July 2011. Mr. ​Leist is an accomplished healthcare executive with more than 30 years of progressive healthcare management experience. He has demonstrated continuous growth, achievements and leadership in the operation of complex initiatives within the healthcare industry. Mr. Leist was named Administrator of the Year by the Arkansas Hospital Auxiliary Association in 2013 and has long been an advocate for Veterans Healthcare. In 2015, he was selected to represent America’s Hospitals testifying for the American Hospital Association in front of the House Veterans Affairs Committee regarding the necessity for Veterans to access healthcare in non-VA facilities. Mr. Leist currently serves on the Board of the Arkansas Hospital Association representing hospitals in the Northwest Arkansas District.

Prior to joining North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, Mr. Leist served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, a 683-bed flagship facility for Healthcare Corporation of America. In this role, he had both local and national responsibilities for Cardiovascular Services. More recently he served San Antonio Community Hospital in Upland, California, as Chief Operating Officer. Under Mr. Leist’s leadership, San Antonio Community Hospital executed programs in financial performance, operational efficiencies, cost management and patient satisfaction positioning the facility to be recognized as a Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospital in 2009. In addition, the facility was recognized by Thomson Reuters earning the Everest award as one of 23 hospitals in the country demonstrating the most rapid improvement in a 5-year period. Mr. Leist also executed financial turnaround at SACH by implementing cost containment measures and revenue generation projects that drove the hospital to the most profitable in four years in its history.
